Privacy Policy
Translations are provided for convenience. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
1. Controller and contact
Breez Node acts as controller for the product data described here. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to [email protected]. Payment providers such as Paddle may separately act as controllers under their own notices.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use Breez Node, we process email and canonicalized email identity; exact email or Telegram-ID approval records; Telegram ID and referral metadata; hashes of short-lived Telegram-to-Web handoff tokens; trusted IP address and country signals used for Geo and trial anti-abuse decisions; declared and billing country; order, amount, currency, payment-provider identifiers and status; policy-consent versions and timestamps; account, connection-profile and service-usage counters; fair-use and security events; support or refund messages; notification-delivery records; and operational audit records. Breez does not store full card numbers, government-ID images, private email destinations, payment-provider secrets, or nationality data.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use data to provide and secure accounts, deliver purchased data and connection profiles, measure usage, prevent duplicate trials and abuse, enforce regional and sanctions controls, process and reconcile payments and refunds, communicate with you, answer support requests, keep accounting records, establish or defend legal claims, and meet legal or provider obligations. Depending on jurisdiction, the legal basis is contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, consent, or another basis permitted by law.
4. Recipients and processors
Data is shared only as needed with hosting and network infrastructure providers; Cloudflare edge, security, and email-routing services; email delivery providers such as Brevo; Telegram when you use the bot; Geo-data providers; and the payment provider displayed at checkout, which may include Paddle, Stripe, or NOWPayments. We may disclose data to advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or a successor operator where lawful and necessary. We do not sell personal data.
5. International handling
Breez Node, customers, infrastructure, and processors may be in different countries. This can involve cross-border processing. We use provider contracts and available legal safeguards and limit transfers to data reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Each independent provider describes its own transfer safeguards in its privacy notice.
6. Retention
Account and service records are kept while needed to provide the service and normally for no more than 24 months after closure unless another rule below applies. Raw network identifiers used for recent trial limits are targeted for deletion after 30 days; email and canonical identifiers proving a trial was already claimed may remain while the trial program operates. Routine security logs are normally kept up to 90 days, and closed support records up to 24 months. Transaction, tax, refund, fraud, consent, and accounting records may be kept up to seven years or longer when law, an active dispute, or a provider requires it. Backups may expire on a delayed rotation.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and may complain to a competent authority. We may verify your identity and may retain information required for payment, fraud prevention, legal claims, or trial-abuse controls. Send requests to [email protected].
8. Security, local storage, and children
We use access controls, secret redaction, transport security, minimization, and audit records, but no system is completely secure. The website uses local browser storage for language and convenience settings and may use essential payment or security storage from providers; it does not use advertising cookies. Breez Node is not directed to children and is available only to people at least 18.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy when products, providers, or law change. The effective date and purchase-policy version identify the applicable version. Material changes will be presented again where required.
