Refund Policy
Translations are provided for convenience. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
1. Request window
You may request a refund within 14 days after purchase by emailing [email protected]. A request within 14 days is reviewed under this Policy and applicable law; it does not automatically guarantee a refund after a digital service has been delivered or used. Any broader mandatory consumer right remains available.
2. Full-refund cases
Duplicate charges, non-delivery after payment, and a verified technical failure that prevents delivery are normally eligible for a full refund. We may first offer prompt replacement delivery when appropriate, but you do not lose a mandatory refund right.
3. Delivered or used data
If a package was delivered and some data was used, we may approve a usage-sensitive partial refund after manual review. We consider unused purchased data, service failure, non-refundable provider costs where law permits, fraud indicators, and the reason for the request. Heavy use may reduce or eliminate a discretionary refund. We never deduct more than the remaining refundable amount and do not override mandatory rights.
4. Response targets
We aim to acknowledge a complete request within three business days and provide a decision within seven business days. Complex fraud, provider, or technical review may take longer; if so, we will provide a status update. These are service targets, not a reduction of a shorter deadline required by law.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank, card, blockchain, and payment-provider processing time is outside Breez Node's control. Do not send a full connection profile, password, full card number, or private key. Include the purchase email, non-secret order or payment identifier, purchase date, and reason.
6. Paddle and other providers
When Paddle is identified as seller and Merchant of Record, Paddle controls and processes the refund under its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. You may contact Breez Node support or Paddle buyer support; Breez Node will not issue a separate off-platform repayment for a Paddle transaction. Paddle may approve, partially approve, or refuse a request and may exercise broader refund authority. Other providers apply their own processing rules while this supplier policy and mandatory law remain relevant.
7. Abuse, reversals, and statutory rights
Fraudulent claims, repeated refund abuse, or payment reversals may lead to review or suspension, but making a good-faith complaint or exercising a legal right is not prohibited. Refunded service data may be removed without making a balance negative. Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable consumer rights.
